FNBC Participates in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program.

THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF CATLIN is participating in the FDIC’s TRANSACTION ACCOUNT GUARANTEE PROGRAM .

Under this program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. The unlimited coverage applies to all personal and business checking deposit accounts that do not earn interest(including Demand Deposit (DDA) accounts), low-interest NOW accounts(Now accounts that do not earn more than .25% interest), Official Items, and IOLTA accounts. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
